Our work is driven by a deep commitment to thoughtful design, technical excellence, and creating spaces that feel as good as they function. Each project is approached with fresh energy and attention to detail, from the first sketch to the final build.
We take a hands-on, personalised approach to each project, tailoring our designs to meet the unique aspirations and needs of our clients.
Our practice is founded on a spirit of collaboration, a commitment to craft, and a belief that meaningful architecture emerges through curiosity, integrity and conviction.
LSD Architects is a RIBA chartered practice.
Having collaborated for years through both education and professional experience, we came together to create architecture that invigorates people through its use.
Our work spans the UK and Europe, shaped by the unique context of each site. We design buildings that feel both rooted and relevant: local in spirit, timeless in form. Each project is bespoke, crafted to avoid the generic and celebrate the distinct.
From initial concept to final completion, we engage closely with our clients, whether homeowners or business owners, guiding them through a collaborative design journey. Each project is treated with unique attention to detail, whilst maintaining a pragmatic commercial awareness. We bring value during the design phase and offer expertise throughout the construction process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality buildings.
LSD Architects is committed to continuous improvement, always refining our services, expanding our skills, and proactively seeking opportunities for growth and partnerships with trusted design and construction professionals.

Our story
Before founding LSD Architects, Luka, Sam and Daniel met in 2015 while working at the award-winning practice Bennetts Associates. They collaborated on a range of high-profile competitions and commercial, cultural, and residential projects. Most notably, they worked on the Facebook/Meta’s new headquarters, as part of the King’s Cross redevelopment.
Luka went on to join international award-winning studio ACME, delivering a central London hotel with a particular focus on bespoke interiors, a series of innovative seaside apartments in Kent, and contributing to the early design stages of the HS2 station redevelopment at Euston.
Sam moved to Allies and Morrison, one of the UK’s largest architecture practices and recipient of the RIBA Stirling Prize People’s Vote, where he worked on the latter stages of major housing schemes, urban masterplans and mixed-use developments in the UK and abroad.
Daniel joined the global practice and RIBA Stirling Prize winner Wilkinson Eyre where he was involved in the construction phase of the landmark Battersea Power Station redevelopment, supporting the delivery of high-end retail and vibrant public spaces along the Thames.
Our team brings a wealth of experience across a broad range of project types — including residential, retail, hospitality, master-planning, workplaces, heritage and conservation, cultural buildings, and mixed-use developments.
Immersive design
We use 3D design from day one because it’s the most approachable and effective way to communicate ideas. It allows clients to understand the project in real time: seeing spaces in context, exploring materials, and testing options with clarity. Whether you're familiar with architectural drawings or not, 3D makes the process accessible and engaging.
This approach is more than visual. It streamlines design development, speeds up decision-making, and improves coordination across the team, from consultants to contractors and fabricators.
Combined with BIM (Building Information Modeling), it allows us to manage technical detail and spatial planning in parallel, reducing delays and minimising risks during construction.
By combining our design approach, unique skills and advanced digital tools, we aim to make the design process as clear and accessible as possible for our clients. This allows detailed conversations to begin early, creating space for genuine collaboration and resulting in buildings that are thoughtful, well-crafted, and built to last.
